Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 2026 | Effective: August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how BAMO MENA INTERNATIONAL SERVICES FZCO ("BAMO") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.bamo.ae (the "Website"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal data collected through cookies, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let the site recognise your device, remember your choices and measure how the site is used. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, which work in the same way, and we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which stay on your device for a set period. They can be set by us ("first-party") or by another company whose services we use ("third-party").
2. The cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Set by | Duration | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the Website secure and working, balances traffic and remembers your cookie choices | BAMO | Session to 12 months | No |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages and links are used, so we can improve the Website | Analytics provider | Up to 12 months | Yes |
| Marketing | Measures the performance of our campaigns and shows relevant content on other platforms | LinkedIn / other provider | Up to 12 months | Yes |
| Embedded content | Lets videos or forms from other services work on our pages | Video / form provider | Session to 12 months | Yes |
A full list of the individual cookies we use, with their names, providers and expiry dates, is shown in the cookie settings panel on the Website.
3. Your choices
When you first visit the Website, a banner asks you to accept, reject or customise non-essential cookies. We set analytics, marketing and embedded-content cookies only if you agree. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the Website cannot work without them.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
- On the Website: select "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the Website from working properly.
- Through third parties: you can opt out of some advertising cookies using the tools provided by the relevant advertising platform.
If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you may need to set your choices again. We ask you to confirm your choices again at least every 12 months.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties that provide services on our pages. We do not control these cookies, and each third party handles the data it collects under its own privacy policy. We have chosen providers with whom we have appropriate terms in place, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and we will ask for your consent again where the change requires it.
6. Contact us
For questions about cookies, contact p.reddy@bamo.ae. Our Privacy Policy sets out our other contact details and how to make a rights request or complaint.
